Do Your Feet Match Your Faith?

Think about it.
Do they match? Do we really TRY to walk the walk of Faith - to LIVE the message of the Gospel . . . or do we merely sit in the pews and listen?
"Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deluding yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his own face in the mirror.
He sees himself, then goes off promptly and forgets what he looked like.
But the one who peers into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres, and is not a hearer who forgets but a hearer who acts, such a one shall be blessed in what he does."
James 1:22-25
Read more Scripture here:

The Faith has been watered down for  too long. The pull of the enemy - the secular world - is strong. Immoral, hedonistic practices have not only become acceptable - they are expected. Those who stand for Truth are labeled "extremists." #WrongIsRightAndRightIsWrong - or so they are trying to make it!

It's all turned upside down - but disregarding truth does not change it. Remember: Truth is objective - not subjective! Strong talk is needed for strong times - reason being: salvation. Thousands upon thousands of immortal souls are on the line.

Secularism is insidious in the way that it infliltrates Faith and separates people from God. Let's talk media. Through the years I've been on a few bus trips/attended events with various ministries and churches in the surrounding metro area. In the past couple of years I've noticed an alarming trend: inappropriate movies being shown on the bus - and at events!

Christians watching violence and listening to profanity - including the Lord's Name being taken in vain - without batting an eyelash! Gruesome violence, immodest dress, sexual inuendo and even sex scenes - all in the name of "entertainment." The second commandment instructs us not to take the Lord's Name in vain - and In 1st Corinthians 6:18  we are instructed to "shun immorality." Are we? Living the Faith. It all starts here my friends. When we remain silent and allow this insidious poison to seep into our souls we do a grave injustice to God, ourselves and others. We can be led astray - and lead others astray. It is so easy to be led off the path and before we know it - we are no longer walking the walk.

I love my brothers and sisters in Christ - and I must speak the truth! Whether we are in the home, at an event, within a ministry or at a friend's house - with all due respect: SLEEPERS, WAKE UP!! We should not be entertaining ourselves with media that is un-Godly - even offensive to God. You do NOT have a "filter" that can outsmart the evil one!! The only way to outsmart him is not to hold his hand - stay clear of him. Friends, the enemy only needs a pinpoint to stick a claw into your soul and Hollywood/the media/magazines/books/tv are more than happy to provide it.
Be aware . . . PLEASE be aware.

None of us are perfect - present company at the front of the line.
But we must TRY to live the Faith in our daily lives. If we are not even attempting to live the Gospel - can we really call ourselves Disciples? God calls us to be pure in spirit - we know this from the mouth of our Blessed Lord Himself! We cannot and will not be pure - if we fill our minds and hearts with filth.
Think about it . . . please pray on it.  WWJD?

I pray that I have in some, small way blessed you with this truth.
