WOW!
This is Father Torres  of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in March of last year. Luckily I stumbled upon this treasure online. His powerful words brought me to tears (in a good way!) Every American should see this. Enjoy!

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PRO LIFERS MARCHED IN WASHINGTON ON JAN 25, 2013 AND WERE IGNORED BY THE ABORTION PROMOTING MEDIA

Secular Media Blackout: March for Life 2013

Last year an estimated 500,00 people of all ages and religious backgrounds walked together to support the God given rights of the unborn. You'd think that the media would jump all over any event with numbers like this - but sadly - it's a mainstream media blackout. You'll have to tune in to Catholic network EWTN to see any footage of the 2013 March for Life.

My husband and I try to attend when we can though it is a lengthy journey. We pray the rosary and sing the chaplet of Divine Mercy as we make this journey with friends.

Throughout the day we march, pray and sing - along with hundreds of thousands of Catholics and other like-minded pro-lifers. It is a unifying, prayerful experience. Last year we marched in the rain - a small sacrifice for the unborn who are massacred in untold numbers day after day, year after year.

The courageous women from "Silent No More" who've had abortions and deeply regret it - march in line holding somber, black "I Regret My Abortion" signs. I cry every time I see those women (and men.) May God bless them for their humility and their courage.

Please march in Washington on January 25th. Let us raise our voices for those who have no voice. I urge you to write, tweet, call and e-mail ABC, CBS, NBC and affiliates and challenge them to cover this event.

God's Easier Sure Way

Preface: The following is a letter from a friend in Christ who follows the promptings of the Holy Spirit - and wishes to remain anonymous. This message is highly relevant and I did feel called to issue an invitation to publish it here. You will be blessed!
YSIC,
Deb

 Matt 11:28
People who study: "the history of God and mankind" (consisting of about 8,000 years of true "inspired-bible-stories"), can help us all to see that there are not many problems (but in fact ... there is just 1-single-problem). Evil sneaks in among us & tries to confuse us by getting us to imagine there are many problems to solve (and that it is seemingly impossible to solve all that needs to be solved).
Moses used to sit and talk to God in a tent in the desert (face-to-face) to make decisions for the 400,000 souls Moses was leading. Moses said he wished that all men would be prophets and God created 72-prophets one day in Moses' camp. Jesus said that He "always did what The Father told Jesus to do". Jesus told Martha that her sister Mary chose the only-1-thing-needed of all things.

Simply stated ... the bible is filled with evidential-stories of people who learned to speak to and listen to God. The bible promises that if someone seeks God's will and direction ... that God will bless that person to find God and to find God's wisdom and answers.

If world leaders will learn to speak with God (as God intended for them to do; since God is the grantor of all authority and leadership; then; God will direct them as He directed Solomon. Solomon asked God to grant him wisdom to rule (and God did grant his request).

So we do not have: a fiscal-cliff, and an abortion-issue, and a health-care-mandate to solve, and a same-sex marriage problem, and a starving generation of young children who are dying each day for lack food, nor a gun-control problem either. (We have 1-problem). We have forgotten how to talk to and to listen to God. The bible is very clear on how holy-people do and did -- follow God's voice.

Those who know and hear God's voice "are responsible to help others find and hear the voice of God within their own souls". Then, the Kingdom of God will arrive -- when all of us can say to one another: "What solution did God inspire in you about that problem"? Then all people will learn how to ask for and get direction from God.
Each person can learn to ask God at any time -- many things like: (God: will you come to and bless our Lesbian, or Gay marriage?), (God: will you help me to have this Abortion?), (God: shall we pass a law forcing people to pay for insurance to medically induce abortions and kill unborn babies?). And then, the God who made us to-be-His-Images will answer us clearly -- because once we ask God, then; the next step is His-reply (and He is very-able to reply).
Until a person hears God's Voice; they are unable to find their True-Real-Self. For how can we be God's-Image without hearing Him?

John.10 [27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;
Matt.11 [28] Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Exod.33 [11] Thus the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.
Num.11 [16] And the LORD said to Moses, "Gather for me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; and bring them to the tent of meeting, and let them take their stand there with you. [17] And I will come down and talk with you there; and I will take some of the spirit which is upon you and put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.
Luke.10 [41] But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; [42] one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her."
John.14 [21] He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him."
Heb.8 [11] And they shall not teach every one his fellow or every one his brother, saying, `Know the Lord,' for all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest
Jas.1 [23] For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who observes his natural face in a mirror; [24] for he observes himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.
Gal.2 [20] - - - ...; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Abortion - Greatest Destroyer of Peace

Photo: “But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child… By abortion, the mother does not learn to love, but kills even her own child to solve her problems. And, by abortion, that father is told that he does not have to take any responsibility at all for the child he has brought into the world. The father is likely to put other women into the same trouble. So abortion just leads to more abortion. Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.

“We cannot solve all the problems in the world, but let us never bring in the worst problem of all, and that is to destroy love. And this is what happens when we tell people to practice contraception and abortion.”

—Blessed Teresa of Calcutta

Newtown Shooting Survivors Attend School Protected by Armed Law Enforcement

According to a CBS News report, Sandy Hook elementary school students who have begun attending classes in a new location are under police protection:
"With their original school still being treated as a crime scene, the more than 400 students are attending classes at a refurbished school in the neighboring town of Monroe. Law enforcement officers have been guarding the new school, and by the reckoning of police, it is "the safest school in America." Source CBS News: shooting-survivors-go-back-to-school
Why is the new school being called the "safest school in America?" The answer of course is because police are not only well educated and trained - they are armed. This brings to mind the "National School Shield" plan which NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre outlined to protect our children - manned by trained, experienced armed guards. Visit "The National School Shield" Website here: http://www.nraschoolshield.com/ LaPierre was blasted by the liberal media for presenting this plan. For example:
"NBC host David Gregory mocked LaPierre's armed guard proposal for schools apparently forgetting that, as the Weekly Standard's Daniel Halper reported, his kids attend Sidwell Friends in Georgetown with the Obama girls, an exclusive school whose security staff numbers 11." Source Investors.com: Media ridicules rational school safety program

A collectively heartbroken Nation asks tough questions in order to find solutions. We know our society is broken. Violence, self gratification and hedonism reign supreme.  I am American but first and foremost I am Catholic - and as such a defender of both life and liberty. I'm not a gun lover - but I love children and I want to see them protected and defended if they need it -  by well trained professionals. A plan like the one outlined by the NRA is now being utilized - and is providing "the safest school in America." Perhaps the answer is right in front of us.
