How is it possible that Prayer is BANNED in Schools - And Islam is Being Taught?

Instructed by teacher to call terrorists "Freedom Fighters"

Every U.S. citizen and every Christian should be outraged - and more than a little bit frightened. According to Jihad watch: Todd Starnes of Fox News reported today that a "State Investigation was Launched After Public School Students Dressed in Burqas". A Texas lawmaker is launching an investigation after a teacher reportedly "invited female students to dress up in Islamic garb and then told her classroom they should call Muslim terrorists: freedom fighters."

From Jihad Watch:
“I am outraged,” one of the parents, who asked not to be identified, told Fox News. “I felt my blood pressure go through my head.” The parent said she was not aware of the lesson until she discovered a photograph of her 14-year-old daughter wearing a burqa on Facebook.
“As parents we should have been made aware of this."
“I felt like the line had been crossed,” she told Fox News. “Christian kids who want to pray have to do it outside of school hours – yet Islam is being taught to our kids during school hours.”

Sen. Dan Patrick said he understands why the parents are upset.
“Could you imagine if someone asked a Muslim student to dress up as a priest,” the senator asked. “The parents of a Muslim student might be rather upset about that.”

Something smells very, very rotten here. AMERICA it is time to wake up! A good way for you to start would be to keep an eye on Robert Spencer's site, "Jihad Watch."

From Mr Spencer's Bio: "Robert Spencer has led seminars on Islam and jihad for the United States Central Command, United States Army Command and General Staff College, the U.S. Army's Asymmetric Warfare Group, the FBI, the Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the U.S. intelligence community."

Mr. Spencer's credentials are excellent and his knowledge is vast. He is also a friend and colleague of Catholic Theologian and Professor Dr. Scott Hahn. Please check him out - and PLEASE speak up  - because if you don't - one day in the not too distant future you won't be allowed to.

Guest Blog Spotlight: SPEAK FOR CHRIST

Today I am blessed with a guest blogger who is in love with Christ and His Church. He humbley requested to remain anonymous. This blog was prayerfully written and I pray it blesses you as much as it did myself. Enjoy!

Speak For Christ

Even if God Himself - tangibly-appeared to someone tomorrow - that person would still need clues and confirmations from God or someone else (or a book, or a picture) - that indeed, it was really God's-appearance.
Evil-forces always-rush-in -- to discourage people and to steal away the faith of all of us. Evil has learned from at least 8,000 years of experience that: Evil needs to destroy any faith, as soon as it starts up, before it gets a chance to grow and spread. Evil tries to make people afraid or embarrassed to speak out publicly and tell neighbors, friends, and relatives about their experiences with God. Surely; Evil wants to keep God a total-secret

God in Jesus came to earth (as God) appearing as a man to show us many things, and He proved Who-He-Was so that no one can avoid Him. In addition; He left hundreds of eye-witnesses (33-AD) to write about Him for the sake of History too.  And then, on top of all this - Jesus showed us 5,000 saints since then in history who have actually put into practice what the bible tells us on how to behave and live with Jesus alive within us - so that  we now have so many witnesses that it is a mystery as to why everyone is not a real-saint.

Bottom line: Jesus lived like one of us for 33 years, then died, rose from death, walked among witnesses for 40-days, lived in and through those who spiritually-allow Him to Co-exist in them then: left us with a holy bible, a church, leaders, and then co-existed inside another 5,000 saints to show us how we too can become co-existent-saints with Him alive in us too if we ask Him to help us do that.

At a minimum -- we who know these things need to (GENTLY) help others to know them too. Evil gives us all kinds of excuses as to why we do not need to talk about Jesus or try to live like a co-existent-saint. Jesus is not going come to die again (He did it once for all). Jesus does live within anyone who gives Him room in their mind, heart, and conscience (He nudges us to let His light shine-through).

The main thing wrong with our world  is that Evil succeeds in keeping Jesus a secret  - and then Evil calls evil things: "good".

INFO ... a Definition of --- item #1777 in the Catechism ...

Moral conscience, present at the heart of the person, enjoins him at the appropriate moment to do good and to avoid evil. It also judges particular choices, approving those that are good and denouncing those that are evil. It bears witness to the authority of truth in reference to the supreme Good to which the human person is drawn, and it welcomes the commandments. When he listens to his conscience, the prudent man can hear God speaking.

Ps.22 [27] All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD; and all the families of the nations shall worship before him. [28] For dominion belongs to the LORD, and he rules over the nations. [29] Yea, to him shall all the proud of the earth bow down; before him shall bow all who go down to the dust, and he who cannot keep himself alive. [30] Posterity shall serve him; men shall tell of the Lord to the coming generation, [31] and proclaim his deliverance to a people yet unborn, that he has wrought it.

Mark.8 ... Jesus said ... [38] For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of man also be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."
Mark.16 [20] And they (Christ's Friends) went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord (Christ's Invisible Spirit) worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it. Amen.
John.14 ... Jesus said ... [17] even the Spirit of truth (Christ's Spirit alive in-us) whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you.
John.15 ... Jesus said ... [15] No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
Col.1 ...
(Author Note: St. Paul explains in 60-AD that The Spirit of Christ was present in history -- and present in all the saints) --- --- --- --- --- [26] the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now made manifest to his saints. [27] To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
2Cor.13 St. Paul said ... [5] Examine yourselves, to see whether you are holding to your faith. Test ourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? -- unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
Heb.11 [6] And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Vatican "Secret Sex Report" FACT CHECK

The "Spirit Daily" publication has covered a so-called "Vatican Secret Report," quoting Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" - which claims that the alleged report has led to the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI - and not the obvious signs of age & weakness as stated by the Holy Father. Catholic author Robert Moynihan exposes the supposed details of alleged report here:  http://www.spiritdaily.com/A221secretreport.htm

A "Discovery News.com" article by   and indicates that the paper has based the "report" on an "unnamed" Vatican source:

"Relying on an unnamed Vatican source, La Repubblica revealed that on December 17 three cardinals presented the pontiff with the “Relationem,” a 300-page report which investigated allegations brought up last year by the so-called Vatileaks scandal."

In fact checking this story I found out that it did, in fact, originate in the Italian "La Repubblica," a well known anti-Catholic secular leftist publication which has been going after the Vatican and the Pope for many years now. Hmmmm . . . who will I believe . . . the vicar of Christ on earth . . . a Holy man who has led the Church this past eight years and gifted us with so much . . . or the anti-Catholic Italian rag "newspaper" which quotes an "unnamed source?" The Holy Father's obvious state of physical decline in and of itself is testament to the truth of his words!

I have presented the available facts - and I have made my own choice - not even a "choice" to me. I'm Catholic - which means I choose Pope Benedict, supreme Pontiff of Holy Mother Church.

February 11, 2013

When I arrived on my blog just now I found it ironic that the last blog I wrote was about our Beloved Pope. I had no idea what was to come - and was initially shocked and saddened by beloved Pope Benedict's announcement of retirement.

In a conversation earlier today someone shared that they didn't understand why he announced his retirement now - just as Lent is about to begin.

My best guess is this: Lent is a somber time of prayer and reflection - ending in the glory and renewal of Easter. Whether intentional or not - I believe the timing is very appropriate. Over the course of the Lenten season we reflect, pray and fast. As Catholics we experience inner growth and renewal and move ever nearer to God. When Lent ends and spring begins we rejoice as we celebrate the resurrection of our Blessed Lord! What better time to celebrate the appointment of a new "papa!" I think it's perfect.

And so we must all learn to let go of our Beloved Pope Benedict XVI. I cannot imagine the prayer and discernment that went into making a decision of this magnitude. Our Holy Father offered himself up to be crucified - for the good of the Church. He is a beautiful example of Christs humility and courage - as always a true vicar of Christ on earth. He is more than deserving of our love and of our prayers.

May the Holy Spirit continue to lead him and may God Bless Pope Benedict XVI with peace and serenity for the rest of his days, Amen!

Please Support The Holy Father "Pontifex"

His Holiness @Pontifex

Pope Benedict XVI

I am making an appeal to those of you in the twitterverse. As most of us know our Holy Father Pope Benedict the 16th has been under attack through his twitter account.  Some of the comments posted in response to his loving tweets have been absolutely vile to say the least.

The good news is that there are actually thousands upon thousands of retweets by those of us who love him. It is the actual comments left for him that are sickening. They are nothing short of vulgar - some even heinous. It is heartbreaking to think that he may be reading them. What has become of us???

The Vicar of Christ on Earth is well aware of the presence of the enemy in the world - even to the point of evil infiltrating the very Church founded by Christ. We know the gates of hell will not prevail because our Lord tells us so. But seeing such ugliness directed at The Pontiff I cannot help but wonder: How does he feel about it? My humble guess is that it likely brings him great sorrow to know that so many who were created by a loving Father are so very lost. They simply cannot know Him - or they would never utter or write such words.

And so, I ask you respond to Pope Benedict by tweeting lovingly and positively - in addition to retweeting. This has a twofold benefit: By showing the Pontifex love and support we are also planting seeds that others may come to know Jesus.
